TOUR DURATION : 3 DAYS
This is a two nights and three days tour that takes you into the interior of the country, which gives you the opportunity to experience the proper landscape of The Gambia.
Visit a local market (Farrafennie), have lunch on top of a hill (Kaur), visit the stone circles (Wassu), a boat trip in the river Gambia national park (Kuntaur) to see hippos, chimpanzees, birds and crocodiles and then spend the night in Georgetown (Janjanburreh).
We will visit a slave market in Georgetown, an underground slave tunnel, the first boarding school built in the Gambia, governor’s residence and the freedom tree before proceeding to ‘Bintang Bolong’ (tributary), wherein we will have a boat trip to see different species of birds and perhaps crocodiles in the evening and spend the night.
The third day we will have a walk before driving back to your accommodation.
